I bought a pair of these to hold my front surround speakers.My speakers are only about 8 pounds and these mounts are not up to the task.Poorly constructed and difficult to adjust.One of the mounts was defective.Unfortunately, since it is sold by J&R and not Amazon proper, the return process is inconvenient and I would be forced to pay return shipping, even though the product was defective.
